Durham Animal Feeds announced as festival partner sponsor.
The North East Dog Festival is delighted to announce Durham Animal Feeds as this years partner sponsor.
Durham Animal Feeds (DAF) is a third generation family business, originally established in 1969 in County Durham.
Company Director Lee Hornsby, commented;
"We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring the 2021 North East Dog Festival. After the year we’ve had we think a huge celebration of the dogs that’ve been there to keep us all happy, healthy, active and company throughout the crazy times we’ve all been through is just what everyone needs!"
The event, which takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September at Kirkley Hall Campus in Northumberland will bring together people from all over the North with one thing in common….their love of dogs!
Unlike anything else in the North, the festival will once again play host to dog shows, have-a-go activities, a wellness marquee, main ring displays and plenty of shopping. Showcasing expert speakers, dog training clubs and much more in its spectacular weekend event.
DAF natural pet foods have been developed with nothing added and nothing taken away, working closely with the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), to ensure that all the products are of the highest possible standard and that all ingredients are ethically sourced.
To ensure that Durham Animal Feeds customers get the best possible price and value, simple clear, transparent, sealed and fully recyclable (where facilities allow) packaging is used for the products, DAF is not only a company which cares about the health and wellbeing of pets but is also conscientious about the environment.
Festival founders; Rebecca Ashworth Earle and Dawn Oliver Doyle commented; "We couldn't create these festivals without the support of fabulous local businesses such as Durham Animal Feeds. As advocates for great nutrition ourselves, DAF fit with our ethos and that of the festival. Working with a business that has the health and wellbeing of dogs at its heart has been easy and we look forward to a fantastic event".
