Super staffies to take to the stage
The super staffies of the East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Display Team will be joining The North East Dog Festival on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Kirkley Hall in Northumberland. You can visit their breed stand for information, advice and to watch some amazing tricks by some of the team. Visitors will also be able to watch a fast, fun packed main ring display and listen to club members in the education marquee.
Lesley McFadyen, Club secretary commented "Our Display Team love to show off the positive side of our Staffordshire Bull Terriers, a breed that sometimes attracts the wrong sort of attention. Staffords love to learn and to please their owners; ours show off their agility and athleticism, their obedience - sometimes a little bit of disobedience! - their intelligence and also their comical sense of humour. We take part throughout the year at lots of events, from local village fetes and open days to appearances in the main arena at Discover Dogs, Crufts and BBC Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace. Staffords aren’t the right breed for everyone but we hope you will enjoy watching them and learn a little about the breed".
We can't wait to welcome the team to the festival for the first time!
